Scripture Song of Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in The Lord With All Thine Heart”

Commentary on Proverbs 3:5-6

by Living Faith Fellowship

Life will deal us many shattering disappointments if we place our trust in those who are subject to failure - including and especially ourselves. But God, who changes not, is worthy of our complete trust and total dependence.

Isaiah declares that our thoughts are not God's thoughts, and that the difference between the two is as great as heaven and earth (Isa. 55:8-9). We should never approach even the least of life's many responsibilities with an attitude of "Let me see what I think about how to handle this," but rather come to God as "know-nothings," always in need of his guiding hand.
