Scripture Song of Psalm 27:14

“Wait on The Lord”

Commentary on Psalm 27:14

by Living Faith Fellowship

Few of of us can claim immunity to the human feelings of fear and panic which often lead to hasty and unwise decisions under pressure. This is why learning to wait on the Lord is so important, a truth the Psalmist doubtless learned through experience.

Waiting on the Lord is not so much an expectation of reinforcements, as it is a gathering of the strength that comes by our waiting. When we do move, it must be not only at God's command, but also in his power.
